Aldershot kept up their 100% record in pre-season with a 2-1 win at home to League One side Colchester.
Kevin Dillon's men took the lead in the 20th minute when Marvin Morgan wriggled free inside the area to thump a shot past Mark Cousins.
But Aidy Boothroyd's side levelled eight minutes later when Morgan inadvertently flicked on a corner and Ashley Vincent was unmarked to convert at the far post.
